what cookies and SDKs blob uses, what they're for, and how to manage them.

1. About this policy

1.1 This policy explains how blob uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and, where relevant, in our mobile application. 1.2 Similar technologies include SDKs, pixels, local storage, device identifiers, crash reporting tools, analytics tools and push notification tokens.

2. What we use

Strictly necessary — required for login, security, authentication, fraud prevention, load balancing, session management and core service delivery. No consent required where the PECR exemption applies. Functional — remembering preferences such as language, theme and accessibility choices. Consent unless strictly necessary for a user-requested feature. Analytics — understanding how users use the Service, improving features, crash/error analysis and product metrics. Consent for analytics cookies/SDKs unless a narrow strictly necessary use is confirmed. Marketing — advertising, retargeting, campaign measurement or marketing pixels. Not currently used. Consent required before use. Push notifications — device tokens and notification delivery where enabled. Consent/permission through device/app settings; marketing push requires PECR-compliant consent.

3. Managing preferences

3.1 On the website, you can accept all, reject non-essential cookies or choose preferences through the cookie banner and the Cookie Preferences link. 3.2 In the mobile app, you can manage relevant preferences through app settings and your device settings. 3.3 We will not set non-essential analytics, functional or marketing cookies/SDKs unless the required consent has been obtained.

4. Third parties and changes

4.1 We use third-party providers for authentication, storage, crash reporting, analytics, push notifications, email and payments where enabled. The current provider list is set out in the Privacy Policy. 4.2 We will update this policy if we introduce new categories of cookies, SDKs or similar technologies. 4.3 Questions should be sent to help@blobme.ai.
